 I consent to Vermilion Credit Union, and its agents and representatives, collecting, using, and disclosing my personal information provided in connection with this Application, and any changes or additions to this information provided in the future, for the purposes of:

  1. providing me, or a third party for whom I am acting, with Vermilion Credit Union products and services that I have applied for or may apply for in the future and providing information to suppliers of products and services to me or Vermilion Credit Union in connection with providing these products and services;
  2. understanding my needs and determining the suitability of products and services for me; determining my eligibility for these products and services;
  3. establishing my identity; verifying information provided by me with third parties including my employer and other financial institutions, verifying information provided by third parties; administering the Account; and making sure my records are kept separate from others with the same name;
  4. protecting me, a third party for whom I am acting, or the Vermilion Credit Union from error and fraud such as identity theft;
  5. collecting a debt owed to the Vermilion Credit Union;
  6. transferring or selling Vermilion Credit Union assets, such as in an acquisition, merger, loan syndication, securitization of loans, or sale of loans;
  7. complying with legal requirements, including money laundering laws and regulations.

I consent to Vermilion Credit Union, and its agents and representatives, disclosing my personal information to:

  1. suppliers of products and services to me or Vermilion Credit Union, including data service providers, cheque printers, card manufacturers, affiliates of Vermilion Credit Union, provincial or national central Financial Institutions or trade associations, in connection with providing and administering my Account and other products and services provided to me, or a third party for whom I am acting;
  2. participants in the payment and clearing systems in connection with providing or administering my Account and other products and services provided to me or a third party for whom I am acting, and to other financial institutions that I request pay cheques drawn on the Financial Institution;

If there is more than 1 Applicant, I consent to Vermilion Credit Union disclosing information about the Account as instructed by either/any 1 of the Applicants.

Member Complaint Process

Vermilion Credit Union strives to deliver accurate, efficient and friendly service to our members everyday.  If you ever feel that we have failed to meet these expectations, we look for your feedback so we can continue to improve our service delivery.  You may submit your feedback to us in the following ways:
We take your feedback seriously and will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, with the best possible outcome for both parties.  Please have all necessary information available in order for us to investigate the issue as thoroughly as possible.  Follow the steps below if you wish to submit a complaint. 
 
We feel most complaints will be resolved within Steps 1 or 2.  However, you have the right to use all steps of the Complaint Resolution process if the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction.  You must provide the necessary information and be open to discussion in order for us to investigate the issue and find a satisfactory outcome. 
Gather all supporting documents and information such as, dates, employee(s) involved, dollar values, transaction details, sequence of events and the resolution you are looking for.
 
Call or visit the appropriate branch to speak to the person you feel is responsible.  Alternatively, you may wish to speak to an employee you have an existing relationship with who can initiate the process. 
 
If this step does not resolve the complaint to your satisfaction, proceed to Step 2.
