The Vermilion Credit Union Scholarship Program recognizes members who are pursuing post-secondary education and making a difference through academics, leadership, community involvement, business, and the skilled trades.
Applications for the 2026 Scholarship Program are now closed. Applications for the 2027 program will open March 1, 2027.

About the Program

Each year, Vermilion Credit Union awards up to four $1,000 scholarships to eligible members pursuing post-secondary education.
Scholarships are available in four categories:
- Academic Excellence
- Business & Finance
- Community Mindedness
- Apprenticeship & Trades
Our goal is to recognize students with a variety of strengths, interests, and career aspirations.
Who Can Apply?

When applications open, eligible applicants must:
- Be a Vermilion Credit Union member
- Be entering or continuing post-secondary education
- Meet the requirements of one or more scholarship categories
Students are welcome to apply for more than one scholarship category if they meet the eligibility requirements.

Every student's path is different. That's why we offer scholarships in four categories:
Academic Excellence
For students who have demonstrated strong academic achievement
Business & Finance
For students pursuing careers in business or finance.
Community Mindedness
For students who have made a positive impact through volunteerism and community involvement.
Appreticeship & Trades
For students pursuing careers in the skilled trades or apprenticeship programs.
How to Apply
